On The Edge: The Spectacular Rise and Fall of Commodore looks back at how Commodore got into the computer business and tells the often forgotten story about how the personal computer revolution gained speed. With Commodore being outside of Silicon Valley for most of its life, it tends to be the company few talk about when going over the history of computing even though it produced the most popular single computer ever (the Commodore 64 of course).

Bagnall hits the hi and low notes and includes a perspective of Chuck Peddle who we should all thank for his contributions to the personal computer, even though he's barely mentioned anymore.
