A-10 Tank Killer is a flight simulation computer game for Amiga and DOS platforms. The game features an A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft. There was a 1.0 release and a 1.5 release in 1991. In 1995 there was Mission Pack released called Extra Mission.
Because of the violence level of A-10 Tank Killer, it has been placed on the "Index" in Germany and was not available to the public.
A sequel made by Sierra, Silent Thunder: A-10 Tank Killer II, was released in 1996.
The PC/MS-DOS version of the game was reviewed in 1991 in Dragon #176 by Hartley, Patricia, and Kirk Lesser in "The Role of Computers" column. The reviewers gave the game 5 out of 5 stars.
