Personal Computer Museum, Canada's Videogame Museum

Rob Michalchuk
Favorite Computer: Apple IIe
Rob has been around computers most of his life. His first computer was an Apple II and he was avid at trying to program it to do something. Rob's parents sent him off to computer camp where he used a Commodore 64 and got to see colour on a computer for the first time. He was also the first Cub Scout in Brant County to receive the Computer Badge. Years have passed since then and Rob still enjoys the now vintage computers and tinkering with their insides in his own ways.

Rob's background is in photography. He presently works at the Brant Museum and Archives as their registrar, cataloguing their vast collection of artefacts, photographs and archives into a computer database.

Rob also enjoys making experimental music-- lately it has been with a computer or an Atari 2600. He has been documenting the music history of Brant County from 1960 to present for the last two years and is trying to create an archive for its history. He also helps run a small local record label.
