Founded by Victor Kass and David Foster, Digital Solutions produced primarily productivity software for the Commodore 64 and 128 (and some for the Amiga near the end). Originally titled the "Pocket" series, Paperback Writer, Planner, and Filer formed the basis for the software for this company.

Foster and Kass would split, with Foster starting Readysoft (and later Digital Leisure) and Kass moving to Rose Media.
