What's this?

Release Date: 10/21/1993
Manufacturer: Apple
Donated By: Danny & Peter Epstein
The Apple Macintosh LC 475 features a 25 MHz 68LC040 processor, 4 MB or 8 MB of RAM, and either an 80 MB, a 160 MB, or a 250 MB hard drive in a compact "pizza box" case. The consumer version of the LC 475 is the Performa 475 series, and the business version is the Quadra 605.

This one boots but asks for a floppy so it would appear the hard drive is not functional.

Does the hard disk spin down before it asks for the floppy? If yes, then try replacing the PSU or changing the capacitors on the logic board. Mine did that and that is what I was told to do.

You should see if the hard disk works on another power pack plug, i had one doing the same thing and that was the problem it seems the wires like to come out of the head unit slightly.
