Interesting Facts about Gyruss: Developed by Konami, and released in 1983. It was designed by Yoshiki Okamoto, who had earlier created Time Pilot for Konami. The game's background music consists of portions of J. S. Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565, in a modern rock style. Gyruss was the first arcade game to use stereo sound.

This is the cartridge version of Gyruss for the Commodore 64. Instruction manual included in original box.

I spent hours and hours playing this game. A friend and I got hooked on it during the summer we spent at a family trailer park arcade. To my surprise, the C64 version was almost an exact duplicate with amazing sound and graphics. This game was solely responsible for the death of at least one Wico Command Control joystick.
