Release Date: 1/1/1983
Manufacturer: Audiogenic
Audiogenic was a company from the U.K.. The cases of their cartridges were "fatter" than most North American VIC-20 releases. The text on the outside of the cartridge is worth reading - most particularly the part where you are told that "your body may contain static electricity which could damage the silicon memory devices which store the program." Cloudburst is similar to Astrosmash for the Intellivision. The player moves a tank like object back and forth along the bottom of the screen while things that need to be destroyed fall from the sky. The game is complicated somewhat by the fact that the aliens, when they reach the bottom of the screen come after you horizontally. You can shoot both left and right, but the joystick mechanism for doing this is a tad awkward.
