Star Wars the Arcade Game is a first person space fighter game, based primarily around Star Wars - Episode IV: A New Hope. You're at the control of Luke's X-Wing fighter, heading straight for the Death Star. Your Mission: To destroy it before the Empire seeks its revenge on the rebel base. The game uses colour vector graphics.

Trivia: There is an urban legend that if the player can shoot Darth Vader's ship 30 times during the first phase, he will be rewarded with 27 or 255 extra lives. This is such a difficult task that it has still not been proven or disproven.

This is the cartridge version of Star Wars for the Commodore 64, cartridge and instruction manual included in original box.
