Atariartist (why no space between the words) is another example of the way in which early home computers attempted to find a "reason to be" in an individual's home. In this instance, children (and graphic artists) were encouraged to put down the pencil crayons and pick up the tablet. Atariartist shipped with the Atari Touch Tablet and was one of the few pieces of software to make use of the technology. People could draw lines, fill them in and save their pictures. It was a niche product but one that can be great fun to use in short burts. The touch tablet can be used at the museum.
