SystemAtari 8-bit

Atari 8-bit

Release Date: 1/1/1987
Manufacturer: Atari
This is one of the cartridges in the Atari's translation of their successful "RealSports" series to the 8bit computing platform. The cartridge in the museum was released in 1987 and demonstrates the staying power of Atari's 8bit computer series. By this time, Atari had switched its focus to the ST series and the GUI / Mouse computing experience that we are still involved in. The game, as one might expect, is a computer football game. The program suggests that it can be played by either one or two people. This is somewhat false as the single-player mode is a barely useable practice mode.
