Commodore 64

Release Date: 6/1/1985
Manufacturer: Starpoint Software
ISEPIC was a combination cartridge and disk that allowed you to capture the image memory of the Commodore 64 and save it to disk. It effectively allowed you to copy certain games that had their disk protection routines at the beginning but also included fast loading software that would effectively reduce load times and have other benefits.

It also allowed you to use certain programs on MSD or 4040 disk drives, which may have otherwise not been possible due to certain protection schemes.

It is estimated that 20,000 of these cartridges have been sold.
