Designed to encourage creativity in children and to introduce them to the fundamentals of word processing and story telling, KIDWRITER (for ages 6-10) lets kids create their very own word and picture stories. Players can choose from several settings (such as a farm, a theater and outer space) and write any story their imagination allows.

Houses, barns, boys, girls, trucks, fish, chairs, triangles, buildings, moons, flowers, aliens and other objects from a pre-stored library can be placed on and moved around the screen. A list of all 99 objects, each of which can be changed in size and color, is available in the instruction manual.

Upon completion of your story, it can be saved on disk and referred to as often as desired. You can author and illustrate a one-page story or link together many pages and produce an entire children's book.

Certified by the NEA. The Commodore 64 side of the disk says "Version 2.0" but this is not indicated anywhere else.
