FastBack was a software application developed in the late 1980s and early 1990s for backing up IBM PC and Macintosh computers. It was originally written by TouchStone Software Corporation and later by Fifth Generation Systems Inc.
Enhancements in this release include Express Menu, a graphical interface featuring pull-down and pop-up menus; improved macro language with a built-in scheduler; support for Novell NetWare 286/386; and dBase-compatible history files. Other features include faster data compressio, and an Extended Copy operation that uses advanced file selection capabilities to create DOS readable/usable files.
Fastback Plus 2.01 operates on an IBM PC/XT/AT, PS/2 or compatibles running MS/PC-DOS 2.1 or higher.
