This is both a software and hardware solution for sampling sound on the Amiga. It's a small external sound sampler that does stereo sampling in 8 bit. It includes two RCA ports for plugging in a line level sound source, and has sound editing and playback through the included software. Software revisions below v3.11 do not work with 020 and 030 processors. The hardware and software was developed by Anthony J. Wood who later became the vice president of Netflix.

The v3.0 software allows up to 40 kHz sampling rate in mono. The hardware was changed to black plastic chassis with different design and features an additional microphone input (3.5 mm jack) with preamplifier. There is no volume knob - the volume is controlled by software, thus ruling out third party software which does not support this.

Very capable sound editor that comes with A/D converter. I tended to like Audio Master just a bit more while still using the perfect sound hardware. But that is more of personal preference. The PS software does a good job.
