Number Crunch

Number Crunch

Release Date: 1/1/1983
Manufacturer: Spectravideo
This is an unusual little game made by the Spectravideo. It is a "Snake" style game in which the player controls a snake that is expected to eat objects that present themselves on the screen. In this version of the snake-game, the player is expected eat the numbers required to solve specific math questions. It is tempting to speculate that the braintrust at Spectravideo was hoping that this game might be classified as education and so land them some school contracts.
