VIC-1210 3K RAM Expander with RTC V-Link

VIC-1210 3K RAM Expander with RTC V-Link

Speed1 MHz

Release Date: 1/1/1983
Manufacturer: Commodore
The VIC-20 (named after the video chip, not the amount of memory as was the case with the Commodore 64) shipped with 5K of RAM. Shortly after releasing the VIC-20, Commodore recognized that consumers would need more ram to run programs and began shipping cartridges like this one. This cartridge is on the "low-end" of memory expansion. Not only is this cartridge a little on the rare side, this version with the RTC (Richvale TeleCommunications) V-LINK is even more so. V-LINK adds BASIC 4.0 commands for disk I/O making the VIC a lot easier to use.
