VIC-1111 16K RAM Cartridge

Speed1 MHz

Release Date: 1/1/1983
Manufacturer: Commodore
The VIC-20 (named after the video chip, not the amount of memory as was the case with the Commodore 64) shipped with 5K of RAM. Shortly after releasing the VIC-20, Commodore recognized that consumers would need more RAM to run programs and began shipping cartridges like this one. This cartridge represents the upper-end of RAM expansion that was commonly available for VIC-20 users.
